NEW YORK, February 27, 2013 - vb-news.net, one of the leaders in providing investment alerts on U.S. stocks are announcing Investment Highlights on Facebook Inc, BlackBerry, Nokia Corporation.

Facebook Inc(NASDAQ:FB) launches messaging services with Airtel and Reliance in India Facebook is partnering with about 18 network carriers around the world, including India's Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications, to provide free or discounted messaging services for its subscribers.

These messaging services are different from the SMS that network carriers offer to users on their data plans.

The other operators on this list include TMN in Portugal, Three in Ireland, Vivacom in Bulgaria, Backcell in Azerbaydzhan, Indosat, Smartfren, AXIS and XL Axiata in Indonesia, SMART in Philippines, DiGi in Malaysia, DTAC in Thailand, Viva in Bahrain, STC in Saudi Arabia, Oi in Brazil, Etisalat in Egypt, and Tre in Italy.

The company is offering this service even to non-users of its social networking site. They just need to download Facebook Messenger on their mobiles and start using their service. Last year the company had launched its Messenger service compatible with various operating platforms. The application was launched to users of mobile phones running on Android in India, Indonesia, Australia, Venezuela and South Africa.

Facebook had reported 1.06 billion monthly active users (MAUs) worldwide including 71 million in India, as of December 31, 2012. The company had also recently enabled free voice calling for users of its iOS app in US and Canada.

There are chances that BlackBerry (NASDAQ:BBRY) might come up with a new platform in certain markets to win back its appeal in the eyes of the customers, but presently it is trying to concentrate on making service additions in those places where the foothold of BlackBerry still remains strong. Today the company is officially launching the BBM money in Indonesia in collaboration with Permatabank and Monitise. This is how real-time mobile payments can be made to social network and messaging service that is specific to the BlackBerry platform.

This service will allow the users of BlackBerry to open a mobile money account that will be attached to their BBM identity. They can sue this money to transfer to other BBM contacts, buy airtime credits or transfer money to their bank accounts.  Now, numerous Indonesian users will be able to complete their business transactions and enable merchants and others to accept the payments through their own devices without having to rely on a third party software. BlackBerry is taking advantage of the fact that it is the top selling mobile brand in the country and this service seems best suitable for Indonesia as both parties will require a BlackBerry device in order to complete the transactions.

According to Richard Johnson, Monitise Group Strategy Director, BlackBerry is the number one platform that is used for short message communication in the country which is also the fourth most populated in the world with 240 million people. Mobile penetration in the country is 90% and more than half of the mobile devices that are sold in Indonesia are BlackBerry devices.

All eyes were on Nokia Corporation (ADR)(NYSE:NOK) on the first day of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, as the company rolled out four new smartphones, including two Lumia phones, catering towards the mid and lower ends of the customer segments.

Nor did the company disappoint those who were looking forward to it at the event.
