Aerius International Inc. in late January underwent a reorganization of its management and board of directors. A group of shareholders was successful in effecting the changes. A new five person board has been installed with the shareholder group naming three of the board members. The new manager and director, Brian Sims, also a member of the shareholder group, will fill this manager role until such time as the new board meets and appoints new corporate officers. Both Bill and Jo Luxon have resigned as officers and directors of the company.
The new board will meet later this month to assess all aspects of the business. The manufacturer of the Aerius prototype phone has been waiting many months for payment to complete it. It is recognized that the phone is somewhat dated as compared to today's smart phones and will need some upgrades. However the key for Aerius at this time is that it will have an operating smart phone prototype with the unique properties that the Aerius patented technology provides. This should provide a lot of opportunities for the company.
