Montreal, Quebec, January 31, 2013 - Mercator Transport Group Corporation ("Mercator Transport" or the "Corporation") (TSX-V: GMT), announces the conclusion of an agreement to sell its subsidiary Mercator Ghana Limited ("MTG"). Formed in 2009, MTG, a subsidiary of the Corporation, operates freight forwarding activities in Ghana. The Company is selling 100% of the shares in MTG for $1. As part of the transaction, the buyer assumes certain assets and liabilities of MTG. The transaction is expected to close January 31, 2013.
