Val-d'Or, Quebec, January 22, 2013, - Knick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: KNX) is pleased to announce the nomination of Mr. Mitchell E. Lavery to the board of Knick Exploration. Mr. Lavery has a wealth of knowledge covering all aspects of the mining and exploration industry including the management of projects through economic cyclic highs and lows over the years.

Mr. Lavery is the Vice-President of Exploration with Canada Lithium Corp. and Quebec Lithium Inc. He is currently a director of Canada lithium Corp. CLQ-(TSX.T) and is President and CEO of Schyan Exploration Inc. As a graduate from the University of Western Ontario in geology he has been practising in his profession continuously since 1975. His career has encompassed exploration and mining projects as well as operations for metallic and non-metallic minerals including Ni-Cu-PGE, Cu-Zn-Ag-Au+/-Pb, Au, Ag, Li and precious stones in North America, South America, Western Europe and West Africa. Over the decades he has been affiliated with Conwest Explorations Ltd., Getty Mines Ltd., Amax Exploration Inc., Western Quebec Mines Ltd., and consulted with numerous junior and mining companies. Mr. Lavery is a member of the Professional Geologist "Ordre des geologues du Quebec". He has previously sat on numerous junior exploration company boards.
