New York (December 13th, 2012) - AVT Inc. (OTCQB: AVTC), a developer, manufacturer and operator of technology-based product dispensing solutions and equipment, is up sharply for a second day in a row. After rallying more than 52% on Wednesday, AVTC has gained another 132% in mid-day trading today on volume of 407,762, which is significantly above the daily average volume of 12,056. The stock also hit an all-time high of $6.49 in trading today. 

Prior to the rally, AVTC had not seen any significant trading activity. The sudden spike in stock price came amid news that the company saw significant increases in revenue for the third quarter. The company also announced several new manufacturing development deals have been signed with major customers.

Amarantus BioSciences Inc. (OTCQB: AMBS), a development-stage biotechnology company engaged in the discovery and development of therapeutic proteins and biologics, is marginally lower in mid-day trading today, paring some of the gains from the previous two trading sessions. 

AMBS had rallied in the last two trading sessions after the company announced the launch of its online corporate communication channels earlier this week. However, the stock has slipped from $0.04 resistance level. The stock has struggled to break through this level in the past couple of weeks. 

AMBS is currently down more than 1%. The stock is still up more than 25% in the last three trading sessions.
