Don Forman is one man who understands the positive impact that surprises have on people who are in need. As the owner of United Nissan, his company has been working with the Fox5 Surprise Squad to put a smile on people's faces all around Las Vegas.
Since its launch in 2013, the Surprise Squad has teamed up with United Nissan in Las Vegas, Albertson Vons and America Credit Union to ''enhance luck and happiness'' for selected viewers. Viewers can use the Fox5 Surprise Squad web form to nominate people who they would like the team to visit.
Early last year the team visited a woman who became a foster parent to her neighbor's kids after their mother died of cancer. The woman who had been raised in a foster home did not want the kids to experience the same thing she had. The team helped her renovate her apartment and create more room for the new family.
In March 2018, the team visited a couple who had a 2-year-old child who had a rare heart condition. A few weeks before the visit, their family's car was broken into and tools that the child's father needed to earn a living were stolen. The team gave the child's father a $500 to buy tools and home depot and a $5,000 fund from Forman's United Nissan.
The team comprises of a camera crew and assistants who help put the show together. The videos of the show are published on their website and on YouTube. So far their YouTube channel has more than 150,000 subscribers with many of them praising the positive nature of the show.

Don Forman's philanthropy has had as much impact as his business which is redefining car sales. What is his secret? ''One of the most important things in life is to be consistent in what you do. Keep that vision and goals out there and don't stop going for it'' he says.
