Currently, California and New York lead the nation in adopting zero-emission school buses, with other states showing significant interest. Bloomberg News noted that by 2025, it anticipates that half of the bus fleets in the world will operate on electric power, and that California cities such as Los Angeles and San Jose have expressed great interest in shifting from diesel and natural gas-powered buses to zero-emission models. ''People are beginning to realize the value of zero-emission electric school buses, especially in light of the risks associated with the exhaust that children breathe while riding in school buses powered by fossil fuels such as diesel and natural gas,'' said Rick Eckert, Chief Operations Officer of ADOMANI.® ''While interest in electric vehicles is growing on a global scale, this webinar focuses on funding that ranges from $150,000 to $220,000 per zero-emission school bus for California school districts; how schools can purchase school buses with the funds; and questions about the all-electric school bus technology.''

''We are seeing an increasing number of orders for electric school buses,'' said Jim Reynolds, President, and CEO of ADOMANI.® ''We're looking at this webinar as an opportunity to help California school districts understand how they can apply for available grant money as well as help them better understand the tremendous value of zero-emission vehicles and the impact they have on air quality, community health, and the districts' total cost of ownership.''

''Blue Bird electric school buses will start delivery this summer, and as the only U.S.-based OEM delivering electric school buses in 2018, we are seeing tremendous interest and activity in them,'' said John Landherr, President and CEO of A-Z Bus Sales, Inc., the California Blue Bird dealer. He continued by saying, ''A-Z Bus is focused on assisting California school districts access the unprecedented amount of funds available in the coming months and years for school bus replacements with exciting new zero-emission technology.''
