As a spokesperson for Shadowplay.com noted, players can bring Chaco Canyon to life with the fun and educational new game that features a gorgeous 3D simulation of Chaco Canyon. The game, which can be downloaded for both Mac and PC computers, allows players to feel like they are walking among some of the greatest ruins in American archaeology.

"Using the tools you've been provided, carefully excavate the ruins, discovering the secrets of the enigmatic Anasazi civilization," the spokesperson noted, adding that as players progress, they will uncover priceless artifacts and rebuild the ruins to their former glory.

When playing "The Anasazi of Chaco Canyon," players can draw a trowel across surfaces that have been untouched by human hands for thousands of years. As a hidden artifact begins to reveal itself through the virtual archaeology game, players will feel their hearts beat faster with excitement.

And, just as real archaeologists must use different tools to carefully excavate artifacts from the earth, players must also be careful to choose the correct tools—for example, a pick for fine work around the edges and then a brush to gently remove the dirt and dust.

"Zoom in to see the amazing detail of the Anasazi pottery and artifacts, each just one more tantalizing piece of the Chaco puzzle," the spokesperson noted.

"Once you have successfully recovered an artifact, it will go in your collection, where you can view it at any time, admiring the skill and creativity of the Anasazi civilization."

Even though "The Anasazi of Chaco Canyon" was just recently released, it has already received some very positive reviews from players.

"I literally felt transported back in time," noted one reviewer, adding that she truly felt like a treasure hunter finding long lost artifacts.
