IBIA Welcomes Bob Eckel to its Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, DC / ACCESSWIRE / July 24, 2017 / The International Biometrics + Identity Association (IBIA) is pleased to announce today that Bob Eckel, President, North America, OT-Morpho, will join its Board of Directors.

As President, North America, OT-Morpho, Mr. Eckel leads the Biometric, Secure Credentialing and Enrollment Services business for OT Morpho, a world leader in digital security and identification technologies. A long-time member of the biometrics and identity solutions community, Mr. Eckel brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to the IBIA board. His leadership, knowledge, and vision for the identity sector will guide this dynamic industry forward.

Mr. Eckel previously served as President of the Secure Credentialing Division of L-1 Identity Systems. He joined L-1 in August 2008 as part of the acquisition of Digimarc, where he served as President of Digimarc's Identity System business since August of 2005. Prior to joining Digimarc, he served as Vice President and General Manager, Air Traffic Management Systems, for Raytheon Company. Mr. Eckel holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and an MSEE from the University of California, Los Angeles.
