CEO Motta Appointed to Chairman; Lead Institutional Investor & Chief Counsel Join Board

("CTI" or the "Company"), an emerging leader in medical cannabis infrastructure, genetics, technology, and branding, is pleased to announce that CEO, Miguel Motta, has been appointed as Chairman of the Board. Robert Kamm and CTI's Chief Counsel, Robert A. Bernheimer, have also joined the board. Mr. Kamm serves on the board as the representative of CTI's lead investor, FinCanna Capital.

Mr. Motta brings an extensive background encompassing both Fortune 500 and growth-stage companies within the agricultural industry. His experience spans global strategy, operations, marketing, commercial direction, mergers and acquisitions, and overall development of plant science companies.

Mr. Kamm is active in California venture capital and angel investing arenas. He holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in Finance/Strategy.

With nearly a decade as a Mayor and City Council member, and over 20 years of experience in representing clients in government, political and legal matters, Mr. Bernheimer has served as the strategic quarterback for Fortune 500 companies, private individuals, public agencies, corporations, and global investment companies in legal, municipal and special district issues across California.
The evolution of CTI's Board of Directors is nearly complete and now includes: Miguel Motta (Chair); Rick Probst; Bob Kamm; and Robert A. Bernheimer. There is still one vacancy on the board, which is reserved for an independent director.
