The 1st National Cyber Security Symposium is set to be held April 24th through April 28th, 2017 at the Belize Biltmore Plaza in Belize City, Belize.

"It's an honor to be able to share my knowledge on cyber security best practices with others," Levin states. "I will be focusing on cyber security awareness training as well as ICT policy development and law enforcement. I hope to help attendees from the Caribbean region develop better cyber security best practices to help reduce their risk."

The Symposium is hosted by the Belize Public Utilities Commission and will be held on behalf of the Belize Government. Levin, along with a number of other professionals, will share information with audiences regarding cyber security, a field in which Levin holds many years of experience.

Levin states that he has a passion for helping organizations to educate employees on cyber security risk. He retired from the United States Department of Homeland Security in 2007, after a 30-year career in law enforcement. Levin served at the Department of Homeland Security as Deputy Director of the National Cyber Security Division and worked managing cybercrime investigations for more than 15 years.

After his distinguished public service career and seeing the need, Levin founded the Center for Information Security Awareness - CFISA. Those who would like to learn more can visit the company website at www.CFISA.org.

The Center for Information Security Awareness was formed in 2007 by a group of leading academics, security and fraud experts to explore ways to increase cyber security awareness training and education among a number of audiences, including consumers, employees, businesses and law enforcement.

"I founded CFISA to bring together leaders in the industry that could help businesses, consumers, and various other organizations to protect themselves and their information," says Levin.
