LAFAYETTE, CO / ACCESSWIRE / April 20, 2017 / Acustream Corp. announced today that it is serving more than 100,000 physicians monthly through its RevBuilder™ platform and RevReview™ service.

"The 100,000 milestone reflects the highly positive reception the health care provider community has had for our services, and the continued focus the industry has on profitability," says Jeff Colvin, Acustream Chief Executive Officer. "Our hospital and physician group clients are recovering significant and material levels of revenue each month that otherwise would have been lost."

RevBuilder and RevReview are highly sophisticated, proprietary systems designed to increase revenue streams by capturing unbilled, misbilled, and misplaced charges by hospitals and physician groups.

Company President Mike Jones added, "By using our services, Acustream clients are increasing their top lines, and seeing those increases drop directly to their bottom lines. The outcomes from the use of our services are highly predictable, and clients see what charges were missed and where they were missed. Our proprietary process leads directly to the collection of missed reimbursements and addresses systemic problems."

Jones has a long history of innovation in business technology. Before joining Acustream, he was the first Chief Information Officer for both Level 3 Communications and Corporate Express, and was later the founding Chief Executive Officer of (i)Structure and then Datavail.

Acustream services - which are cloud-based, HIPAA-compliant and need minimal time and resource commitment from the client organization to add to their current process - have the added benefits of showing departmental efficiencies, help measure RVU production, indicating true costs-of-care tied to reimbursement priority, and identifying sources of revenue leaks.

"What makes our products and services unique is our ability to separate hospital data from physician data, then combine those 2 data sets to help identify missed charges that cannot be found using only data from one side," Jones says. "With our enterprise offering we become an extensive safety net for our clients and a strategic partner in eliminating revenue leakage and margin erosion."

Acustream prides itself on the relationships it has with its clients. "Once we identify a problem area, our clients can then fix the problem; Acustream does not continue to charge for those benefits moving forward," Jones says. "Some companies that provide revenue integrity services continue to charge clients for problem areas after the client has fixed the problem. We don't believe in that philosophy. We work under contingency fee arrangements to make it easy to work with us, and we don't get paid unless we do the work, find missed reimbursable charges, and the client gets reimbursed. All our efforts are tracked through our world class workflow capability and are transparent to each client. These and other attributes of Acustream separate us from the field, and are indicative of our corporate culture and integrity as a company."

Acustream clients include many of the leading hospitals and physician organizations in all regions of the U.S. The company is based at 2770 Dagny Way in Lafayette, Colorado. Further information is available at www.acustream.com.
