As Pasquale noted, becoming a radio station voice is highly coveted by industry professionals. He is looking forward to using his radio imaging voiceover talents at 101.5 WFTZ, which he said, has an interesting backstory.

The station covers Southern and Middle Tennessee, and is the home of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. For over 10 years now WFTZ has hosted "Roo Radio" during the Festival, adding over 100,000 people to Manchester every year, with each of them dialed into 101.5 FM.

In 2016, WFTZ Radio changed its name from Fantasy Radio to Rooster Radio, which is an homage of sorts to the station's southern location and being the home of Radio Bonnaroo.

Pasquale said he is looking forward to his new role as the station voice for The Rooster 101.5 WFTZ.

"Since I don't sound like a typical station voice, it gave general managers and imaging directors a new angle to help get their station sounding 'fresh,'" he said, adding that he has enjoyed recording for stations across the country in his 17 year career.

Pasquale's memorable voice definitely caught the ear of Ryan French, Operations Manager of The Rooster.

"We searched well over 100 radio voices across the country before we made a decision on the voice for The Rooster," French said.

"We wanted someone who we felt appealed to both men and women, and someone that brought dynamic range to what will become known as 'the voice of the Rooster.' It's important to connect with your audience with a personable and trusting voice, and we feel Tony will bring that to our listeners from day number one."
