In response to these issues, CoolBag-Gen 2 was produced. The original model, CoolBag, was presented to the market in 2014. Since then, the product developers have been engaging with their customers, looking into pain points consumers might have with the current model, and seeking general suggestions for improvement. Backed with this data on consumer opinion, CoolBag-Gen 2 was introduced to the market just recently.
The features of the new product address any foreseeable issue one may have while traveling with a number of items. A combination zipper lock on a puncture proof zipper deters theft, while the material is water resistant and waterproof; the liner is thick and cut resistant.
The CoolBag-Gen2 doubles as a discrete cooler as well. It has built in expandable bottle holders, and a wine sleeve to protect beverages in the cooler. Inside the bag are two mesh pockets for cell phones, an RFID pocket for passports and cards, and a padded tablet pocket.
