Two Separate Awards Announced For Best Creative Application of the Swipe Studio Design Program

LOS ANGELES, CA, NEW YORK, NY, and TOKYO, JAPAN / ACCESSWIRE / December 2, 2016 / SWIPE has unveiled the winners of its first-ever SWIPE STUDIO CREATIVE CHALLENGE, a global competition recognizing the best works created with art and animation tools available from the groundbreaking digital design platform.

The competition has bestowed two separate awards to creator-applicants, including The Satoshi Nakajima Award, named after the architect of the Swipe program, and The Neal Adams Award, named after legendary comic book artist and U.S. Swipe media spokesman Neal Adams,

Winner of The Satoshi Nakajima Award is Hidetoshi Tomimoto, whose work entitled, "THE NEW" was selected in recognition of its innovative use of the Swipe Studio smart media expressions, such as light, explosion, and smoke. "I was very impressed by the way the author took an advantage of Swipe animation. New technologies like Swipe need early adaptors who are willing to innovate together, and this is one of great examples," said Satoshi Nakajima of Hidetoshi Tomimoto's entry.

"Although other entrants worked wonderfully with the new technology, this contestant seemed to have a sense of the rhythm and variety of the tools available. And although I was entranced by the other entrants, I felt this one used the tools in the most entertaining way," commented Neal Adams regarding the winning submission for The Neal Adams Award.

The two award winners will receive substantial global exposure for their design works, including visibility on Swipie, the platform's consumer application designed to share creative content), as well as media announcements and future Swipe conferences and exhibitions.

The brainchild of software genius Satoshi Nakajima - the engineering architect responsible for Windows 95 and Windows 98 along with Internet Explorer versions 3 and 4 - Swipe empowers everyone from consumers to creators to easily animate everything from emails to digital comics with media-rich digital elements and make use of animation, video, vector graphics, as well as full audio for voice, music, and sound effects on tablets and smartphones. Created to take full advantage of today's touch-enabled smartphone and tablet technology, Swipe eliminates the need for complex programming typically required to build animation or other forms of design content. As a result, creators, designers, animators, and artists have the tools to create media-rich animated digital content for consumption via touch-enabled devices including smartphones, tablets, and touch-enabled set-top-boxes, such as iPhone and Apple TV.
