TORONTO, ON AND NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / August 26, 2016 / Intertainment Media Inc. (TSXV: INT) (OTC Pink: ITMTF) (FSE: I4T) ("Intertainment" or the "Company") announces that it has received a Statement of Claim filed by Mr. Anthony Pearlman, former President and Chief Operating Officer of Intertainment, in the amount of approximately $650,000 claimed in unpaid wages and other damages in connection with his employment with Intertainment.

Mr. Wayne Parsons, Chief Executive Officer, says "I am extremely disappointed to receive these claims by former management. We are working extremely hard with limited finances to try and turn around what we have inherited. I feel for the shareholders as I would rather be spending time and money trying to fix the underlying business versus responding to lawsuits".

The Company is thoroughly assessing the claim with legal counsel and is considering all available recourse.
