According to a Directed Energy, LLC spokesperson, the purpose of the Voices of Humanity project is to give a voice to all people and immortalize them. The project intends to send each participant's hopes, dreams, and aspirations into the universe using a directed energy-propelled spacecraft - which will contain data as emissaries from Earth. Directed Energy, LLC ensures that all uploaded data will be private and will be encrypted before use.
At this time, Directed Energy, LLC and the team has taken their project to Kickstarter, where they seek the necessary funds to bring the Humanity Chip to life. With a goal of $30,000, Lubin and Brashears hope to complete the first phase of the project by March 2017.
