TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / August 23, 2016 / Enerdynamic Hybrid Technologies Corp. (TSXV: EHT) ("EHT" or the "Company") is pleased to provide a further update on its Advanced Modular Housing Systems including its "Enertec" embedded solar roof product. After almost three years of research and development, EHT is pleased to advise that its new innovative Advanced Modular Housing Systems utilizing proprietary technology including a market disrupting embedded solar roof is market ready.

EHT has utilized specialized expertise to create housing and energy solutions that create an environmentally sustainable building solution for remote area housing and modular housing demands for a number of applications. In fact, the energy generation of an average size Advanced Modular Housing Unit generating its own energy supply could simultaneously charge up to 1,000 cellular telephones, providing lifesaving access to emergency services and allowing contact with family and news services for the members of a devastated or routinely isolated community.

John Gamble commented, "Today, EHT's plant in Welland, Ontario displays the Company's model designs that are environmentally advanced and comfortable with insulation values as high as R50 or greater. The advantages of the Advanced Modular Housing Systems are readily apparent particularly for construction in remote regions. The EHT Advanced Modular Housing Systems are incredibly strong and a clear leader in terms of energy-efficiency, durability and weather resistance. EHT can erect an entire home in days versus many months with the conventional building process."

EHT uses a proprietary skin and foam core that is stronger and more energy efficient than traditional wood or steel structures providing the highest ratings for energy efficiency. EHT works with its partners worldwide to erect the buildings on-site utilizing EHT staff and local crews. After installation, each structure can be furnished and finished to meet the customer's requirements including customer requests for siding, tile, kitchens and bathrooms. The EHT Advanced Modular Housing System is shipped on pallets and can be delivered via rail, truck or water in standard formats.

The Company's innovative "Enertec" Embedded Solar Roof is a breakthrough in the industry, offered as part of EHT's Advanced Modular Housing Systems or as a standalone product in a carport, shed roof or as the roof of a solar powered emergency shelter. By embedding the solar cells into its unique fire proof skin, EHT has replaced the need to install heavy glass panels and aluminium racking, an application limiting weight load in traditional solar panels resulting in a much lighter and less expensive solar solution. EHT believes that this breakthrough will open up a large market for roof top solar, as many roofs were not designed to carry the weight of traditional solar panels. The lower cost will also drive faster paybacks for customers looking for off grid power or a replacement of ever increasing grid power costs. The entire EHT embedded solar roof becomes a massive solar panel capable of producing significantly more energy than the home requires, allowing the home to then become an important source of power for the local micro grid or large battery storage systems.

The Company has just shipped two model housing units, based on specifications supplied by the customer, to the Ivory Coast in Africa. These houses are to be erected in early October for the customer approval and the approval of the Government of Ivory Coast for social housing development. Both of the units contain EHT's "Enertec" embedded solar roof system. One of the housing units will be connected to the grid to allow excess power to be returned to the grid and the other will be completely off grid. This will give the customer the choice of power depending on the needs and the location that specific houses are built. The Government of Ivory Coast has set a target of building 250,000 new social houses over the next 3 years. EHT believes it has the right product to help the government achieve this goal.

This summer EHT constructed a 1,200 square foot housing unit for the annual Assembly of First Nations conference in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This house contains a 9 kilowatt embedded solar roof (generating 9,000 watts per hour for an average of 4 peak sunlight hours per day) which can operate entirely off grid throughout much of northern Canada. With heating and cooling requirements of approximately 750 watts of energy per hour, the system easily generates a day's supply of power. The Company is working with various First Nations groups, as a result of their visiting the housing unit during the conference, to field test units in the near term.
