VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / August 22, 2016 / Big Sky Petroleum Corporation (TSXV: BSP) (OTCBB: BGKYF) ("Big Sky" or the "Company") announces with regret, the passing of one of its directors and founders, Mr. George Robinson following a prolonged illness.
Mr. Robinson joined the Big Sky board in 2011 and was a strong voice on the board. Mr. Robinson had previously been a leader in the discovery of oil in the Alberta Basin. He and his brother ran Robinson Oil and Gas, a successful oil and gas company.
Mr. Robinson's sage council and experience will be missed by the Board. The vacancy left by Mr. Robinson's passing will not be filled at the present time.
