Puration and Spanish Peaks ScrumpDelicacies Announce Contest to Name Cannabis Beverages to be Produced in Million Dollar Collaboration

DALLAS, TX / ACCESSWIRE / August 9, 2016 / Puration, Inc. (PURA) and Colorado based Spanish Peaks ScumpDelicacies today announced a contest open to the public for naming a cannabis infused beverage.

Last week, the two companies announced entering into a $1 million collaboration agreement to produce and co-market THC and CBD infused beverages. The agreement is the first of three anticipated agreements with food and beverage companies to be announced in the coming weeks by Puration.

"Nobody knows the cannabis community and culture better than those that are part of the community," said Brian Shibley, CEO of Puration. "We believe the best way to deliver a product that consumers want is to ask the consumers what they want. So that's what we decided to do through a naming contest – ask consumers to dream-up cannabis infused beverage names that capture the imagination and at the same time imply the flavor and benefit of the beverage. We believe the community can come up with the Coca-Cola(R) of cannabis beverages. The contest will be run entirely on-line and the decision will be made based on social media response. We're looking for three names for three different beverages and we will award three winners with a year-long supply of the beverage they named."

The two companies plan to launched the contest this coming Monday, August 15, 2016. The contest will be run entirely online for a duration of 10 days. The companies plan to announce the winners on Monday, August 29, 2016. If you want to receive an email with the contest rules and instructions for submitting entries, fill out the information here on this contact page:

Puration utilizes a highly refined cannabis extraction process to deliver consistent and high-quality cannabis extracts. Puration recently announced an independent lab test certifying Puration CBD extract at 98% purity. The Company's business strategy is to develop collaboration agreements with food and beverage companies to co-market food and beverage products infused with Puration's cannabis extracts. Puration has published a business plan with a $3 million revenue forecast on the Company's website.

Spanish Peaks ScrumpDelicacies is a venture backed startup dedicated to building cannabis consumer product production capacity in the Southern Front Range Region of Colorado. After the Southern Colorado Town of Walsenburg was featured in a USA TODAY report last year as a potentially ideal region for the evolving cannabis industry yet underserved by the investment community, the Spanish Peaks ScrumpDelicacies initiative was born.

Together the two companies plan to develop a line of THC and CBD infused beverage products for the consumer market to be sold where law currently permits. The cornerstone of the collaboration agreement and the first year budgeted $1 million sales objective is founded on an affiliated distribution partnership.
