Westside Has License To Produce and Distribute United Cannabis' Prana™ Product Line Throughout Oregon
DENVER, CO / ACCESSWIRE / April 20, 2016 / United Cannabis Corporation (OTCQB: CNAB) (the "Company" or "United Cannabis") today announced that its subsidiary UC Oregon Corporation ("UCANN OR") has entered into a partnership with Westside Enterprises LLC ("Westside"), for the production and distribution of the United Cannabis-branded Prana Bio Nutrient Medicinals products in the State of Oregon.
Tony Verzura, United Cannabis' Chief Technology Officer, commented on the partnership, "The positive patient response to our Prana products in Colorado and California has served to build demand for our products across the country. Our partnership with Harborside in California enabled us to fine-tune our production and marketing protocol, and has positioned us to expand the operation into other cannabis-friendly states."
The Westside master grower has more than 30 years of cultivation experience and has been growing medical cannabis for the Oregon medical community since 1999. Westside was established in 2015 to service Oregon's newly created recreational cannabis industry, as well as to continue to serve the needs of the state's medical cannabis sector.
Under the agreement, Westside will have an exclusive license to United Cannabis' intellectual property and utility patent for the manufacture of the entire Prana Bio Nutrient Medicinal line. The agreement also provides for Westside to manufacture and distribute these products throughout the state of Oregon.
