On December 1st, 2014, Aerius International, Inc. signed a six month lease at one of Albany's premier office buildings. In mid-November Aerius received 10 prototypes of its custom designed Android tablets. Quality Assurance testing (QA) was performed by Uvault Media Platform to ascertain the compatibility of the tablet with the Aerius software applications. User testing (UAT) will conclude by year's end for product rollout in Q1 2015. Upon completion of all testing, Aerius will submit its first commercial order for 20,000 10 inch and 7 inch Android tablets that will be bundled with its medical and education management software applications. Additionally, the tablets will be available for sale on the company's soon to be launched Enterprise web site in early 2015.
Aerius is in the final stages of discussions with Etherios, a division of Digi International, to have its high power, low SAR antennae and proprietary smartphone, certified by the FCC and PTCRB. Etherios has a proven track record of building and designing M2M solutions for development stage companies. Etherios guarantees that upon completion Aerius wireless devices will meet all requirements necessary for certification.
Once Etherios completes its qualification process, the antennae equipped smartphones will be distributed to individual carriers to obtain internal certification approval; a process that will take from 3-6 months.
