Park Ridge, IL / ACCESSWIRE / December 17, 2014 / Good Afternoon shareholders, Woodman Holdings is excited to announce that they have signed an agreement to fund its minority investment in UPONUS Technologies, LLC. "We have initiated the funding of our investment and, once our funding commitment is fulfilled, we look forward to working out the terms of a license agreement for UPONUS' secure mobile application for the consumer market in the United States," said COO Theodore Fotsis. The company is excited to have reached this initial milestone and hopes that WHAM will soon be able to focus on cyber security issues in consumer mobile market. UPONUS' secure mobile application software not only encrypts all phone calls and text messages, it also allows a user to send encrypted files, which we believe is becoming a urgent necessity.

The decision of our Board of Directors to work with UPONUS was in part due to UPONUS' unique position and its expertise in the software encryption world. UPONUS holds a patent in a method of encryption unlike current standards, and the mobile app is built upon this proprietary technology. In addition, UPONUS has applied for patent protection for its key management system, an important component of the mobile app. The uniqueness of UPONUS' technologies comes in part from its unconventional origins. It is predominantly known throughout the cryptography world that practical knowledge of the chaos theory is essential in designing encryption algorithms. The founder and chief scientist of UPONUS Technologies, Thomas Volpert gained this knowledge early in his career while developing gaming designs. He has many method patents, which is the broadest type of patent protection, including a patent of version of Tic-Tac-Toe (Patent: US4813681) and a Card Game Puzzle (Patent: US4838551). Mr. Volpert has developed over ten different board and card games, and during that process, Mr. Volpert honed and perfected his skills of creating and managing chaos in all his gaming designs. This creation and managing of chaos became essential for the encryption algorithms that he created. When you mangle or encrypt data you must instantly use maximum chaos and when you decrypt it you must restore it to its exact previous state. It takes more than just technique and skill in order to create a secure mobile encryption. There is a fine art and science behind the manipulation and creation of data in mixing secret keys into the encryption and decryption process.
