EVANS, GA / ACCESSWIRE / December 14, 2014 / The Military Law News Network has announced the release of its latest episode which focuses on the controversial issue of whether military sexual assault victims' rights trump the Constitutional rights of the accused in a military court martial.

High profile attorneys and hosts, Michael Waddington and Timothy Bilecki, discuss the hot button issue with regard to military sexual assault.

Waddington, one of only two military lawyers in the USA who is a member of the prestigious American Board of Criminal Lawyers (ABCL), says, "You can’t have victims' rights at the cost and expense of trampling the rights of the accused and that's where victims' advocates are going. Little by little they are chipping away at the constitutional rights of someone who is accused, but not convicted of a crime."

Bilecki commented, "We call people victims without a trial or a verdict. If we give more rights to alleged victims we start building our entire system on being victim-centric."

The Military Law News Network releases weekly videos on YouTube that discuss military law related news stories and topics. The host Michael Waddington and Tim Bilecki have been named by The National Trial Lawyers Association as one of the "Top 100 Trial Lawyers in the USA."

The lawyers defend serious criminal cases worldwide. Some of their high profile cases have been covered by major media outlets including CNN, The New York Times, NPR, The New Yorker, Time, ABC Nightline, Good Morning America, and the BBC.
