Los Angeles, CA / ACCESSWIRE / December 10, 2014 / On November 14th, Them Howling Bones held their EP release party at the LA Fort, and it turned some heads. Janky Smooth referred to the show as "Punk --- rock," and even went so far as to describe the band as his "all-time favorite up and coming band in LA." The guys had a lot to live up to as they took the mic. at Mrs. Fish, a new club in Downtown LA, on Saturday, December 6th. The band played to a sold out crowd at 10:40 P.M. and, for those in need of an encore, the group hopped onstage for a second performance at midnight.

Mrs. Fish, which opened to the public just a few weeks ago, features an overhead 5,000 gallon aquarium with sharks, three tiers with their own bars and unique views, and a menu packed with specialty cocktails and appetizers. Affectionately referred to by some patrons as "PERCH's Little Sister," Mrs. Fish is operated by the same owners and in the same building as the well-known French-inspired lounge.

"As an L.A.-based band, we love playing in different bars and venues throughout L.A.," said Pedro Torres, Them Howling Bones' lead singer. "Mrs. Fish was great…the ambiance, the crowd, the amazing drinks, and of course the shark tank! We hope we're invited back to play our jams at Mrs. Fish again in the future."

The free show attracted new and old fans alike, and included performances of their singles "Left for Dead" and "Luci". Although Them Howling Bones played two sets only hours apart, the sold-out crowd was entertained and ready for more. About Them Howling Bones:

Them Howling Bones is a blues-rock quartet from Los Angeles, CA, featuring Armando (bass), Collin (drums), Pedro (vocals), and Mitch (guitars). The first song they performed was The Doors' "Roadhouse Blues"; it wasn't until afterwards that they decided to form Them Howling Bones. With strong blues influences and a traditional rock 'n roll bent, Them Howling Bones has arena rock heft in a modern music world lacking muscle. Their eyes are already on the prize - a stadium gig - and they're working towards filling up the seats, one fan at a time.
