Space City Charities held its 5th Annual Wolf Scholarship Golf Classic on November 10th at Panther Trail in The Woodlands, Texas. The scholarship's namesake,Verna Wolf, who served more than 40 years on the board of directors.
Houston, TX / ACCESSWIRE / December 4, 2014 / Space City Charities held its 5th Annual Wolf Scholarship Golf Classic on November 10th at Panther Trail in The Woodlands, Texas. The scholarship's namesake, Verna Wolf, who served more than 40 years on the board of directors at Space City Credit Union, was in attendance for the tournament.
"Verna set the tone for our board, and although she's retired, the example she set still carries forward to this day. She was selfless, dedicated, and always focused on the member's needs," said Craig Rohden, CEO of Space City Credit Union (founded Space City Charities in 2013).
S&W Energy Solutions is the co-title sponsor of the Wolf Scholarship Golf Classic. "After tournament expenses, $26,000 was raised for deserving students.
