Seoul, South Korea, / ACCESSWIRE / November 30, 2014 / LGM, Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Leo Motors Inc. (OTCQB: LEOM) has filed two patents that will significantly improve efficiency in the refrigerated cargo transportation of fresh food while dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of bulk refrigerated vehicles.

The new patent pending technologies represent major novel cooling system advances for cost-effective, safe, and efficient transport of fresh food. Most refrigerated trucks use electricity generated by the vehicle’s internal combustion engine therefore requiring the engine to be running at all times including rest and stops for loading cargos. Such continued engine operation emits pollution and consumes expensive fuel.

LGM’s new energy efficient refrigerated cargo innovations rely on a proprietary energy storage system completely independent of the vehicle’s combustion engine.

Dr. Kang, CEO of Leo Motors said, “With the addition of these patented technologies, we are able make a significant contribution to, and capitalize on, the global refrigerated cargo vehicle market.”

LGM is 100% owned by Leo Motors. The company is an electric boat manufacturer and a global leader in internationally patented E-Boat technology. LGM’s breakthrough E-boat intellectual properties feature cartridge battery technology (CBT). CBT divides large scale battery power packs into 15~30 pound cartridge units that facilitate the removal, recharge, and replacement process.

LGM also enjoys encouragement and support from the Korean government. The government and LGM are cooperating to minimize the impact of impending WTO limitations.
