Amended: Gatekeeper Announces Notices of Award and Commitment from Public Transit Transportation Market

Abbotsford, BC / ACCESSWIRE / September 16, 2014 / Gatekeeper Systems Inc. ("Gatekeeper" or the "Company") (TSX.V: GSI) is pleased to announce that it has received notices of award and commitment from public transit transportation agencies totaling a minimum of USD $160,000.

A Public Transit Authority from the state of Illinois, Chicago, USA, will have 30 transit buses outfitted with Gatekeeper's 508 DVR with a 256 solid state drive, equipped with GPS, G4 software, and driver alert buttons. Gatekeeper's unique wireless download system, trade named AUTOWAKE, may be integrated into a WiFi wireless solution giving users total control of managing and downloading video from remote offices after buses return to depots. The total value of this contract will range from USD $105,000 to $115,000 with the high-end dependent on the implementation and installation of wireless infrastructure.

The Illinois-based Public Transit Authority, whose name has not been made public at press time, operates a mass transit system and demand response services that provides scheduled door-to-door pick up and drop-off of seniors, the disabled, and others.

The Company is also pleased to announce it has received a commitment to purchase from a Public Transit Authority from Florida, USA, for their 25 unit paratransit fleet. Gatekeeper will supply a 504 DVR with 4 cameras, equipped with a 500GB drive, GPS, driver alert button and a WiFi Configuration to automatically download the video from the buses to the office. The initial purchase order from our Florida-based customer will start at USD $56,000. Most recently, Gatekeeper outfitted this customer's new vehicle purchases from Champion Bus with mobile video security systems in June of this year. An additional 23 systems are targeted to be installed in late September 2014.
