Cardiff Energy Corp. Announces the Appointment of Thomas Bugg to the Board of Directors

Vancouver, BC / ACCESSWIRE / September 16 2014 / CARDIFF ENERGY CORP. (the "Company") (TSX-V: "CRS") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Thomas Bugg to the Board of Directors effective September 15, 2014.

Mr. Bugg has been involved in the oil and gas industry for the past 30 years through public and private companies and has significant experience drilling directional, horizontal, deep gas and heavy oil wells in both the United States and Western Canada.

Mr. Bugg has been involved in founding a number of oil industry companies including Beau Canada Exploration Limited where as Chairman, CEO and President he directed the Company from 0 productions in 1988 to over 18,000 bopd by early 2000. Additionally, Mr. Bugg was also one of the original founders of Ensign Drilling Limited. Ensign is now one of the largest drilling contractors in North America with a market capitalization of several billion dollars. Furthermore, Mr. Bugg was recently a past director of Ceiba Energy Services, a publicly traded company listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange that provides environment services to the oil industry.

Mr. Bugg will join the Board of Directors of the Company as an independent director, and will assist with the identification of suitable resource project opportunities and financing for the continued growth of the company.

The Company would also like to announce the resignation of Gordon Bradford as CFO and a Director and the Company would like to thanks him for his contributions. Mr. Bal, the President of the Company will be assuming the position of CFO.
