NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / September 9, 2014 / Designer sensation Michelle Parisou continues to impress the fashion world as the prestigious MODA NY Show, part of New York's Fashion Week, the largest fashion event and exhibition in the US, and the official kickoff to the fall world-wide fashion season, announced it will feature the new designer and her fast growing Michelle Parisou line of French Print apparel in its "Designer Spotlight" a pre-show publicity tour distinction to promote MODA internationally. Parisou is only one of two designer’s selected nationally for this honor.

Moreover, Parisou's metoric rise continued to score with buyers as company officials also announced just last week that US National distribution was now complete in less than 12 month since her debut in Palm Beach only last August. This now places the Michelle Parisou brand of International Resort Wear in over 200 high-end retail stores nationwide.

Michelle Parisou grew up in Sarasota FL but never wondered far from her strong French Ancestry.  A fashion graduate from Miami International University of Art and Design, the designer lives in the Mountains of North Carolina in a French Chateau she designed and built with her husband. "My sanctuary" as she calls it, from the long trips to Europe, where she manufacturers her new successful premium brand of International Resort Wear, only launched last August.

"I am living a dream now," Michelle says of her fast track "Michelle Parisou enVogue Brand" which Yahoo Finance called early this year "the fastest growing new fashion brand in the SE USA."  I wanted to design from an early age the designer recalls. "When I was 14, I made my mother a mother's day outfit, a too sexy blue tank top and a very loud blue and gray long skirt, but she was a sport, she wore it," Michelle laughs.

Just this month, the designer hit a huge milestone when she completed national distribution for her line in less than a year. And moreover, she is also launching for Spring 2105, her new value line "4 ever French," a top collection with tunics and dresses to follow next season.  I am gratified and amazed that we are also now in over 200 stores as well," the designer says. "I am definitely proof, one should never give up on their dream," she said.

The designer says American women need to take themselves less seriously when it comes to fashion.  "Our garments purvey easy elegance-a chance for a woman to be comfortable day into evening in the same dress, with a sense of capriciousness. This is the French way…dressed yes, but always with a touch of whimsy.  Clothes express yourself otherwise you have nothing to say," the designer added.

Michelle unwinds after a busy daily schedule with her two favorite pastimes, a great glass of French Champagne and early evening walks on her estate with her two beloved rescued Alaskan Malamutes. Her home is in the wine region of North Carolina, where she grows Muscadine grapes and has plans to build an Inn and restaurant there as well. "I always have a new creative pursuit, I never stop dreaming." she smiles.

Michelle is an accomplished French Cook and as the sun rises each day, she and her husband have their coffee, while practicing their French Lessons on Rosetta Stone. "My French is not what it should be, so we have fun every morning with it, for that hour it is only French. My dogs get confused, and start howling at us. It is quite amusing. But a wonderful way to start the day," the designer said.
