After an embarrassing 43-8 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII, the Denver Broncos cannot wait to get back to football in order to redeem themselves. Despite having the second hardest schedule in the NFL for this upcoming season, the Broncos are considered favorites to win it all in 2014 after their spectacular offseason. Having Peyton Manning alone guarantees the Broncos at least 12 wins this season; however, if they want to actually win the Super Bowl this year they need a defense that will perform as well as their high-powered offense.

The Broncos offense in 2013 was not only the number one offense in the league but also the greatest offense of all time. Led by Manning's single-season NFL passing records of 5,477 yards and 55 touchdowns, the Broncos put on an absolute scoring fest every weekend, finishing the season with an NFL-record 606 points scored. The Broncos defense on the other hand finished in the bottom half of the league in most categories including opponents' points per game, opponents  ' passing yards per game, and total yards given up in 2013. However, Broncos General Manager John Elway took note of his team's defensive problems and made some serious changes over this offseason to help fix it.

Elway and the Broncos had plenty of cap room to work with this offseason, and they used every penny of it bringing in high-price defensive Pro Bowlers Aqib Talib, T.J. Ward, and Demarcus Ware to replace the aging Champ Bailey. Talib, Ward, and Ware join super star Linebacker Von Miller, who was just recently medically cleared to play after his knee injury at the end of last season, to create a defense sure to cause a multitude of problems for quarterbacks.

The Broncos may have the second-toughest schedule in the NFL this season, but they will certainly be up to the challenge. The Broncos will be looking for revenge September 21st in Seattle, and Peyton would love to get one more victory against his rival Tom Brady and the New England Patriots on November 2nd in Foxborough. Mark your calendars because those are two games you do not want to miss!

The complete Denver Broncos schedule for the 2014 regular season is as follows:
