DENVER, CO / ACCESSWIRE / Jun 19, 2014 / CannLabs, Inc. (OTCQB: SDSPD) announced today Genifer Murray will be a featured speaker at the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) Business Summit on June 24-25, 2014 in Denver.

When you look around at the growing marijuana industry, you see many women involved but few are more recognizable than Genifer Murray, the founder and CEO of CannLabs, Inc., which leads the cannabis industry in innovation, science and technology. Murray is a noted expert in the cannabis industry and has been sought out for insight by media outlets ranging from Entrepreneur to CNBC. She is a founding member of Women Grow, a local group dedicated to helping female entrepreneurs in the business and routinely advises on issues surrounding cannabis safety, testing and labeling for government entities nationwide.

Heather Despres, lab director at CannLabs, also will participate in the NCIA Business Summit on a separate panel covering one of today's hottest topics - testing for potency. This subject is incredibly important as states like Colorado begin developing their own criteria around marijuana testing. Despres, who holds a master’s degree in chemistry, is responsible for overseeing the development of CannLabs’ state-of-the-art laboratory and managing its process-driven procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and quality.

"This Summit underscores the true business nature of today's cannabis industry," said Murray. "It also allows CannLabs the unique opportunity to showcase our innovative products and services, deep industry knowledge and leading technology to investors interested in becoming more involved with the cannabis industry."

These are the first of several conferences in which CannLabs will participate this year. CannLabs representatives are slated to speak at the Cannabis Investors Conference later this month, the Cannabis Economic Summit in August, the National Pain Week and Continuing Medical Education Conference in September, and the MMJ Conference in November.
