Shares in Atmel Corporation moved higher on Thursday, reversing some of the losses from previous trading sessions. The company’s shares ended the day 0.92% lower at $7.64 after trading between $7.46 and $7.72. A total of 4.92 million shares were traded which is well below the daily average volume of 7.06 million. ATML’s shares have now fallen 3.9% in the last three sessions. However, despite the recent losses, the stock has grown by over 16.60% since the start of the year. Maxim Integrated Products Inc.’s stock was one of the best performers in the technology sector on Thursday. The company’s shares hit an intraday high of $27.49 before finishing the day 2.08% higher at $27.47. A total of 4.41 million shares were exchanged which is above the daily average volume of 3.29 million. However, despite the gains yesterday, MXIM’s shares have fallen by over 1% in the last three sessions. In the last one month, the stock has dropped by more than 12.80%. Shares in ON Semiconductor Corp. rallied yesterday, reversing some of their losses from previous sessions. The company’s shares closed 3.94% higher at $8.18, which was also their intraday high. A total of 7.38 million shares were traded which is above the daily average volume of 6.64 million. However, despite the rally on Thursday, shares of ONNN are still down by over 1.20% in the last three sessions. The stock is currently trading close to its 52-week high of $8.73. Cypress Semiconductor Corporation’s stock rose sharply on Thursday. The company’s shares hit an intraday high of $10.80 before finishing the day 3.86% higher at $10.77. However, despite the sharp rise yesterday, shares of the company are down by more than 1% in the last three sessions.
